Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant - CNA/STNA certification required in the State of Ohio
- Applicants must pass the state test and be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry
- Good documentation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and safety to elders
- Presenting elders with choices and decision-making opportunities
- Engaging in interesting and meaningful activities with elders
- Assisting the elders in getting up and going to bed when they want
- Planning and cooking their favorite foods and eating a meal with them
- Laundry and light housekeeping tasks
