About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our skilled nursing team in Cincinnati, United States. Requirements

  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) licensure as required by the State of Ohio
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum 1+ years of clinical or nursing experience
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team
  • Capability to safely handle multiple tasks and prioritize patient care needs
  • Basic computer skills for documentation and electronic health records
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift, transfer, and assist patients safely
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and HIPAA compliance requirements
  • Strong attention to detail in patient documentation and reporting

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings
  • Certification in CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Additional training in patient mobility and transfer techniques

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and record vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates, reporting any abnormal findings to your supervisor promptly
  • Measure and accurately document patient height, weight, and fluid intake/output as directed
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene while respecting their dignity and independence
  • Transfer, position, and turn patients safely using proper body mechanics and assistive devices to prevent injury
  • Provide compassionate skin care and monitor for signs of pressure ulcers or other skin concerns
  • Support patients with medication reminders and escort services as assigned
  • Contribute meaningfully to resident assessments and care planning in collaboration with the nursing team
  • Deliver nursing rehabilitation and restorative care services to promote patient recovery and independence
  • Provide emotional and social support to patients, recognizing the importance of psychological well-being
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect patient rights, personal belongings, and privacy in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Report suspected abuse, neglect, or any resident concerns immediately to your supervisor
  • Follow established schedules and care plans while remaining flexible and responsive to changing patient needs
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and patients, ensuring clear and transparent information sharing
  • Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment while maintaining organized, efficient workflows
