Requirements
- Valid Illinois Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Passion for providing compassionate care to older adults
- Must work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month
- Must work at least one (1) weekend shift per month
- Must complete at least one (1) observed holiday shift per calendar year
- Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
- Applicants may be subject to a background check.
- Employees in this position must be able to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on personal care to residents
- Assist with nurse-delegated tasks such as recording vital signs and operating mechanical lifts
- Enhance residents' quality of life through effective communication and meaningful interaction
- Support residents with daily activities and personal routines
- Maintain flexibility to meet staffing needs as an on-call team member
