Overview RiverView Health, is a community owned, membership based non-profit organization that was formed in 1898 and continues to be the sole community hospital in Crookston, MN. RiverView Health operates a 25 bed Critical Access Hospital, RiverView Recovery Center; a chemical dependency outpatient treatment program, RiverView Home Care and five primary care and specialty clinics in the hospitals service area. Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
  • 2-3 years of experience as a CNA or CMA in a healthcare setting.

Nice To Haves

  • 1-2 years of clinic experience
  • 1+ years of EMR (EPIC) experience

Responsibilities

  • Supporting Providers and Nursing within the Clinic Pods with scheduling patient appts, adding Patients to lab and imaging schedules, Printing and faxing paperwork.
  • Answering phones and relaying messages to Nurses and Providers.
  • Assisting Patients in activating MyChart in Epic.
  • Maintaining an efficient flow of Patients by assisting with Rooming, collecting and filling out proper health information forms and obtaining patient vital signs.
  • Preparing Patients for exams.
  • Proper cleaning, disinfection and turnover of exam rooms.
  • Ensure accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
