Ensures call lights are answered timely and report patient needs which are outside of the scope of practice to the appropriate personnel Obtains and documents vital signs, patient height & weight, activities of daily living and intake and output promptly and appropriately Shift: Days, 7:00am to 7:30pm Job type: Full Time Hours: 12hrs Up to $2,500 Sign-On bonus based on experience GENERAL DUTIES: The nursing assistant provides patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • California Nursing Assistant Certification upon hire and to be maintained at all times
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support
  • Non-violent crisis de-escalation training (CPI) completed within 90 days of hire and maintained
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work with staff, patients and families
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to use computer for documentation

  • Previous Experience in similar setting
