About The Position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Avera Morningside Heights Care Center, you will gain hands-on experience in care while working alongside nurses and other professionals dedicated to making a positive impact. Requirements

• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Licensing Board in the state of practice within 120 Days
• Ability to work specified hours and perform essential job functions satisfactorily
• Visual acuity and effective communication skills.

• High School or GED Equivalent
• Less than 1 year of related experience or training

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to residents with their activities of daily living
• Performs routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
• Documents vital signs and other relevant information accurately
• Assists residents in performing specific medical care activities as per established policies
• Maintains a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
• Participates in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families
• Complies with resident rights and reports any allegations of abuse or misappropriation of property
• Follows established safety and infection control procedures.
