About The Position

Gundersen Health System is seeking a part-time CNA for our Neuroscience Unit. Care for neurosurgery patients and those with other neurological disorders (i.e. spinal surgeries, deep brain stimulators, brain tumors/lesions, aneurysm treatment, lumbar drains, endovascular stroke treatment, seizures, post traumas, and more). This position is 0.6 FTE, working 48 hours bi-weekly with 12-hour rotating shifts during the day (6:30am – 7pm) and night (6:30pm – 7am). The role requires working every third weekend (8-hour shifts) and two holidays a year.

Requirements

• Wisconsin Registered Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
• Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for neurosurgery patients and those with neurological disorders.
• Work 12-hour rotating shifts, including day and night shifts.
• Work every third weekend and two holidays a year.
