About The Position

Cedar Park Med is looking to hire a CNA for immediate openings (ED, Med/Surg Float Pool). This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your skills and dedication make a real impact. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. Schedule/shift: Day, Evening, and Night shifts available. 6, 12-hour shifts in two weeks period. Every other weekend is required. Hiring for both local and traveler positions! Only candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for traveler roles. Rates vary based on experience and whether the position is local or traveler. Position Overview: As a CNA in the Emergency Float Pool, you will deliver direct and indirect nursing care activities such as obtaining vital signs, assisting with toileting, bathing, and feeding, and working as a safety companion to patients who are identified as safety risks. You will collaborate with the healthcare team across multiple units, adapting to patient needs and providing compassionate, high-quality care.

Requirements

  • Current New York State CNA certification.
  • BLS certification (required).
  • Minimum of one year of patient care experience.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Level 1 trauma experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care including bathing, toileting, feeding, and obtaining vital signs.
  • Serve as a safety companion for patients at risk.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment in compliance with healthcare standards.
