Schedule: Full Time Shift : Day shift Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Location: Covering Orange, Osceola and Seminole County. Flex Team see patients in homes, skilled nursing and ALFs in the tri-county area. The role you'll contribute: The Certified Nursing Assistant is responsible for providing personal patient care services to assigned patients on hospice care in private homes or in skilled nursing facilities per the plan of care, in compliance with hospice, State and Federal regulatory and licensure standards.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Valid in state Drivers License with current car insurance
  • Active American Heart Association BLS

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Hospice and Palliative RN (CHPN) - Cert

Responsibilities

  • Provides personal care to patients, including bathing, shampoo, nail and foot care, oral hygiene, and assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
  • Aids patient mobility and performs range of motion activities as outlined in the plan of care.
  • Cleans and maintains the patient area, changes linens, and does patient laundry as needed.
  • Prepares and serves meals or snacks, and assists patients with eating or drinking as needed.
  • Leaves necessary supplies for patients, including creams, lotions, and briefs.
  • Communicates with patients to assess their living and body conditions, ensuring a safe environment.
