About The Position

The Denver Hospice has an immediate opening for a CNA to assist our patients on our North team. LOCATION: North Denver Metro STATUS: Full time SCHEDULE: Days, 40 hours/week; Holidays and weekends per policy PAY RANGE : $19.26 - $24.50 / hourly SUPPLEMENTAL PAY: B ased on position, schedule and/or availability: Paid Mileage/Shift Diffs/Overtime MILEAGE AND EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT: Sixty-two and a half cents per mile – one of the highest in the industry! Upholds positive public relations with patients, families and facility staff. The Certified Nursing Assistant is able to work with neonates through geriatrics.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: One year CNA experience desired (hospice preferred). Six month’s CNA experienced desired if position is for home health. New Graduates accepted.
• Required License: Current Colorado CNA license. Valid Colorado driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• CPR certification
• PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS : Ability to lift/push/pull minimum of 35 lbs

Nice To Haves

• One year CNA experience desired (hospice preferred).
• Six month’s CNA experienced desired if position is for home health.
