Location: Jamestown, ND Shift: Weekdays and Weekends (Varying Hours) Job Schedule: Full Time & Part Time Weekly Hours: 4-40 JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to perform supervised tasks related to the delivery of health and personal cares, therapeutic, educational, behavioral, recreational, and leisure activities for the children and young adults at Anne Carlsen. The position also contributes to and assumes authority, responsibility, and accountability for completing specific procedures and duties to implement the overall ISP/IEP, positive behavior support plan and nursing care plan. This position is supervised by licensed nurses, Home Life Operations Manager and Supervisors, the teachers and/or therapist the position is assigned to in order to complete their responsibilities. The position is also required to complete the certified nursing assistant course within 6 months of employment and complete the certified medication assistant training if required.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Valid North Dakota Drivers License

Nice To Haves

  • Prior completion of DD modules
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
  • Certified Medication Assistant (CMA)
  • 2 years’ experience as DSP and/or CNA
  • High School Diploma

Responsibilities
