About The Position

Always Best Care Senior Services – Atlanta is seeking an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide in-home support for a client with advanced dementia in the Sandy Springs area. The client may exhibit challenging behaviors, including agitation and resistance to care. This position requires a calm, confident professional who is skilled in dementia care, redirection, and maintaining a safe environment.

Requirements

• Active Georgia CNA certification
• Proven experience working with clients with dementia
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors safely and professionally
• Clear TB test results
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Ability to pass a background check
• Reliable transportation
• Strong communication skills, patience, and emotional resilience

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Use de-escalation, reassurance, and redirection techniques during periods of agitation
• Support personal hygiene, toileting, dressing, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders as directed
• Maintain client safety and dignity at all times
• Follow structured routines to reduce confusion and agitation
• Observe, document, and report behavioral or condition changes to the office
