About The Position

This position is responsible for caring for the residents under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), LPN/LVN, or Director of Health & Wellness. The role involves taking and recording vital signs, measuring and recording height, weight, and fluid intake/output, and recognizing abnormal changes in body functioning. It is essential to report such changes to a supervisor. The position also includes assisting with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living. Additionally, the role requires transferring, positioning, and turning residents, providing skin care, contributing to the resident's assessment and the plan of care, and providing nursing rehabilitation/restorative nursing services. The individual will follow the schedule of resident's needs set out by the supervisor and provide emotional and social support to residents. Promoting and protecting resident rights, assisting residents in making informed decisions, treating residents with dignity and respect, and respecting residents' confidentiality are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• 1+ years of related experience and/or training in Clinical/Nursing.
• CNA licensure depending on state requirements and regulations.
• Acceptable proficiency in English.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities
