About The Position

We’re looking for a Certified Nursing Assistant/Certified Medication Technician(CNA/CMT) to join our caring, patient-centered team. In this role, you’ll provide personal care and medication support to hospice patients in a way that respects their dignity and enhances their quality of life. Requirements

  • CNA/CMT Hospice House
  • Meets the training requirements of the State of Maryland and holds licensure as a CNA
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Understands or willing to learn the hospice philosophy
  • Comfortable working independently and providing specialized care to the terminally ill
  • Satisfactory references from previous employers
  • Provides a calm manner around patients and families
  • Has empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail and the impaired
  • Possess and maintains current CPR certification
  • Demonstrates tact, patience and good personal hygiene
  • Good oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
