We are currently seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants and Certified Medication Aides to join our team at Peak Resources Wilmington! Full-time Opportunities available: Full-time - 1st Shift (7a-3p) - 4 to 5 days a week with every other weekend availability. Part-time Opportunities available: Part-time - 1st and 2nd shift (3p-11p) - 2 to 3 days a week with every other weekend availability. Certified Nursing Assistant Role Responsibilities: CNA’s to provide residents with routine daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident’s assessment and care plan, and as directed by the Nursing Team. Administrative duties may coincide with this position as well. Certified Medication Aide Responsibilities: A Medication Aide assists in the administering of medications to skilled nursing/nursing home residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services. The administration of medications shall be in accordance with established nursing standards, the policies, procedures, and practices of this facility, and the requirements of this State.

Requirements

  • Current, unencumbered, certification as a Nursing Assistant/Medication Aide in NC
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace
  • High School diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) year CNA experience or more
  • One (1) year CMA experience or more

Responsibilities
