About The Position

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CENA) to join our team for the afternoon shift at our Dearborn Heights facility. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to our residents, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring their comfort and safety.

Requirements

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or CENA certification in the state of Michigan.
• Ability to work afternoon shift hours reliably.
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive to resident needs.
• Basic knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.

• Previous experience in a long-term care or healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring resident safety at all times.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Follow all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with nursing and interdisciplinary team members.
