About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) position is located in Center Twp, Beaver County, and offers a starting rate of $19 per hour along with a $6,000 Sign-On Bonus, which will be paid throughout the first year of employment. Lutheran SeniorLife provides a comprehensive array of community-based health and social service programs throughout western Pennsylvania, including skilled nursing, home health, personal care, assisted living, and more. The C.N.A. will perform basic duties to assist participants in maintaining an environment consistent with their needs, helping them with mobility exercises and daily activities to promote independence. The role requires a commitment to the mission and core values of the LIFE Program, emphasizing teamwork and participant satisfaction.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Current Pennsylvania State Nurse Aide Certification; must be listed on state nurse aide registry without allegations.
  • At least 1 year of experience with the frail or elderly.
  • Dependable transportation with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Assist participants in mobility exercises to promote independence.
  • Provide care across various settings (center or home) ensuring participant satisfaction.
  • Assist participants with walking, transfers, and use of mobility devices.
  • Help participants with toileting, incontinence care, feeding, and showering.
  • Support socialization activities at the center.
