About The Position
Elm Terrace Gardens is a continuing care retirement community located in the heart of Lansdale. We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients and assist nursing staff in delivering high-quality care for skilled nursing. This role requires a commitment to patient well-being and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Shifts available: Skilled Nursing Part-time 7am-3pm Full/Part time 3pm-11pm Part-time 11p-7a POOL/per Diem, 8 hour and 12 hours shifts available Personal Care Full/time 7a-7p We offer a supportive work environment and opportunities for professional growth. Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Aide certification in the State of PA
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
- Basic understanding of medical terminology and procedures
- Physical stamina to perform tasks and assist patients
- Be Punctual
Responsibilities
- Must be patient and caring towards the elderly
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Help patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Support nursing staff with various tasks as needed
- Must be punctual for scheduled shifts
