Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and provide essential nursing care under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN) and licensed vocational nurse (LVN). The ideal candidate is patient, empathetic, and committed to delivering high-quality care.
Requirements
- Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in California
- Ability to lift and assist residents as needed
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate and patient-focused mindset
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, assisted living, or long-term care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring residents from beds to wheelchairs.
- Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist with feeding and ensuring residents receive proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Follow individualized care plans to ensure the highest level of patient comfort.
- Document care provided and reported any changes in residents' conditions to nurses.
