Requirements

  • A current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (requirements vary by state).
  • Minimum of two years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a long-term care facility.
  • Completion of a state-approved Train-the-Trainer or Nursing Aide Instructor course (if required by state law).
  • Prior teaching or mentorship experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of CNA curriculum and state certification requirements.
  • Ability to simplify complex medical concepts for students with diverse educational backgrounds.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in nursing techniques, patient care protocols, and healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities
