About The Position

The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) at Heritage Woods of Canton is responsible for providing exceptional and individualized care to residents, adhering to their specific care plans. This includes assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while actively promoting their independence and maintaining their dignity. A key aspect of the role involves reporting any changes in a resident's health status to the clinical team. The CNA is expected to connect with residents and their family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, aiming to create positive and lasting experiences. The position also emphasizes continuous professional growth through participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities. Compliance with all rules and regulations concerning resident confidentiality and privacy is mandatory, and the CNA will perform other assigned duties as needed.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or GED equivalent required
  • Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
