Requirements

  • Active CNA certification in the State of Indiana (required)
  • Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented personality
  • Strong communication skills and adaptability to meet changing resident needs

Nice To Haves

  • CPR certification preferred
  • Experience in memory care, assisted living, or long-term care a plus (training provided)

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities including dressing, grooming, meals, hygiene, and mobility
  • Provide respectful, person-centered care tailored to residents with memory challenges
  • Monitor resident health and promptly report changes to nursing staff
  • Support a safe, structured, and comforting environment
  • Engage residents in therapeutic activities that promote dignity, connection, and quality of life
  • Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and fellow care team members to follow individualized care plans
