Certified Nursing Aide (CNA)- 2nd shift
About The Position
The Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) on the 2nd shift at Heritage Woods of Sterling is responsible for delivering exceptional and individualized care to residents according to their care plans. This includes assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity, and reporting any changes in resident health status to the clinical team. The role also involves compassionate interaction with residents and their families, continuous professional development through educational seminars and staff meetings, and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy regulations regarding resident information. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident’s care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
