About The Position

We are currently considering candidates for hospitality focused Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA). Candidates must have CNA experience and a desire to join a great team dedicated to providing outstanding and superior hospitality. Full time shifts are available: 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm & 11pm-7am. Certified Nursing Assistants at The Glenview at Pelican Bay assist residents on our beautiful campus in Premier Place. They provide each of their assigned residents with routine daily nursing care and services.

Requirements

CNA experience
Ability to communicate efficiently in English using proper grammar in a pleasant manner.
Must be able to work independently.
Must pass an extensive criminal background check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

High School graduate preferred.
Typing experience with other business machines desirable.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily dental and mouth care (i.e., brushing teeth/dentures, oral hygiene, special mouth care, etc.)
Assist residents with bath functions (i.e., bedbath, tub or shower bath, etc.) as directed.
Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary.
Assist with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.
Participate in and receive the nursing report upon reporting for duty.
Follow established policies concerning exposure to blood/body fluids.
Weigh and measure residents as instructed.
Answer resident calls as promptly as feasible.
