About The Position

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Arcadia Care Peoria Heights is responsible for providing essential care and support to residents in their daily activities, ensuring their health, welfare, and safety. Requirements

• Must have a valid Illinois CNA certification.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Visual and auditory ability sufficient for communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide assistance with serving meals and feeding residents.
• Ensure residents have fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Assist residents with personal hygiene, including using bedpans, baths, and showers.
• Help residents with ambulation, turning, and positioning.
• Check and record vital signs and weight of residents.
• Document actions by completing necessary forms and reports.
• Maintain resident privacy and dignity by keeping information confidential.
• Adhere to professional standards and comply with all relevant regulations.
• Participate in educational opportunities to maintain licensure and job knowledge.
