About The Position
Southwoods Health is hiring a CNP or PA to work in our Surgery department at The Surgical Hospital at Southwoods in Boardman, Ohio. Under general direction will assist in surgery in a multi-specialty environment. Will effectively identify, evaluate, and address the prevention of diseases, while administering quality care for their patients. Will communicate with members of the medical staff on issues concerning consultation, collaboration, and referrals. Will collaborate with members of the Surgery staff on the care and treatment of patients. Maintain accurate and legible medical records, while documenting all medical evaluations, diagnosis, procedures, treatment, prognosis, referrals, education, and consultations that are consistent with state regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Experience not required, recent graduates welcome to apply
- Certified Nurse Practitioner, Certified Nurse Specialist, or Physician Assistant with active license in the State of Ohio
- Active DEA
- BLS and ACLS certification through AHA
