About The Position

Sutter East Bay Medical Group is seeking a Full Time Certified Nurse Midwife to join our collaborative Group of Ob/Gyns, CNMs & NPs and who is available for both inpatient and ambulatory shifts in a hybrid role. Full Scope Obstetric and Gynecological care within CNM scope including family planning and menopause care. Centering Pregnancy group prenatal care is offered. LARC insertion, management and removal Limited Obstetric Ultrasound CNM First-Assist for Cesarean Sections Advanced antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum skills 12 hour shifts on L&D. 1:9 call, providing 24/7 CNM care at Alta Bates Hospital. In house MD backup, labor tubs, nitrous oxide, and strong CNM presence and culture on the unit. Collegial, collaborative team dedicated to improving organizational systems and patient care. Our Advance Practice Clinicians exercise a high degree of independent judgement in assessing patient risk status and managing patient care. Responsibilities will include Comprehensive evaluation and management of Ob-Gyn patients, and collaborative management as indicated by a patient’s clinical status. This opportunity involves working closely with the local obstetricians, midwives, and other clinic staff.
