Requirements
- Trained as a Midwife with a Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited program
- Certified as a Midwife (CNM) through the American Midwifery Certification Board
- Free and clear Midwife license to practice in Massachusetts
Responsibilities
- Triaging antenatal assessments
- Performing non-stress tests
- Supporting low-intervention labors at the partnered hospital's birthing center
- Conducting GYN evaluations
- Prescribing as needed
- Maintaining EMR documentation
- Offering breastfeeding and self-care guidance
- Co-managing cases with physicians
