About The Position

Atlantic Health System, one of New Jersey's largest non-profit healthcare networks, is seeking per-diem Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) to join our Labor and Delivery Service at Morristown Medical Center. With support from board-certified obstetricians, social workers, nutritionists, and nurses, we are looking for several Certified Nurse Midwives to work inpatient on the labor and delivery floor at Morristown Medical Center. This is a great opportunity within a growing service line to make a difference in the community and be an integral part of the obstetric care team. Morristown Medical Center is a baby-friendly designated hospital and features a state-of-the-art labor and delivery unit and maternity department with 54 private patient rooms, including four birthing tubs. We proudly deliver more than 5,400 babies each year. This is a great opportunity that offers an outstanding work/life balance with flexible scheduling and no call. The CNM will be responsible for providing high-quality, direct patient care by diagnosing, monitoring and examining women intrapartum and postpartum labor and discharge home. Requirements

• Certified by the American Midwifery Certification Board
• Must be licensed as registered nurse (RN) or eligible for licensure in New Jersey
• BLS certification required
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can work independently

Nice To Haves

• Ob/Gyn experience preferred
