About The Position

Join our team practicing in a full scope collaborative environment. Our CNM's provide comprehensive care across inpatient and outpatient settings—pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, immediate newborn care, gynecologic and family‑planning needs while delivering safe, compassionate, evidence‑based care for every family. CNM group independently provides labor support, water birth and VBAC/TOLAC services Midwifery collaborative support is provided by a supportive inhouse OB and maternal fetal medicine groups We attend approximately 40-50 births per month with three affiliated clinics. "Natural birth experience" highlighting nontraditional care in the hospital. Follows standards for Nurse Midwifery Practice established by the American College of Nurse-Midwives and Minnesota statute. Professional Liability insurance including tail. Learn more About the location: United Women's Health Clinic and Mother Baby Center 347 Smith Ave N # 203 St Paul, MN 55102 United Women's Health Clinic in St. Paul, MN provides comprehensive outpatient OB/GYN care, offering prenatal services, wellness exams, and coordinated support from a team of OB/GYN physicians and certified nurse‑midwives who partner closely with United Hospital for delivery care. The Mother Baby Centers deliver integrated, family‑centered maternity services through Allina Health and Children's Minnesota, offering labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care with high‑risk pregnancy support, NICU collaboration, and specialized OB/GYN leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Graduate from Accredited School of Nursing required.
  • Master's degree or doctoral in nursing or related field preferred
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required upon hire.
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support required within 180 Days.
  • AMCB American Midwifery Certification Board upon hire required.
