Request to add 2 CNM positions to increase CNM staffing to include weekend coverage. Current staffing includes 2.7 FTE of CNM coverage and supports M-F only, requesting 2 FT positions to increase to 4.5 FTE and utilize contingent staffing for remainder of coverage. Providers and residency program coordinators are requested weekend CNM coverage to support the 2 residents assigned to the department on weekends. 30-day productivity numbers reported are inclusive of labor deck physicians currently scheduled. GENERAL SUMMARY Participates in a program of comprehensive women’s health care, from inter-conception counseling, to assessment of individual woman’s needs, evaluation of obstetrical needs, perinatal follow up, normal spontaneous term labor management, vaginal deliveries, normal newborn evaluation, and well-woman gynecologic examination. Participates as member of the Women’s Health Care Team and practices inter-dependently with the nursing and medical practitioners.
