About The Position
The position of Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology involves providing comprehensive midwifery care to patients throughout antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn stages. The role emphasizes autonomous decision-making, patient assessment, and the initiation of medical treatments, while also engaging in quality assurance and project management within the Labor and Delivery unit. The CNM will collaborate with healthcare teams, educate patients and families, and participate in research and community health education initiatives.
