Requirements

• Masters or Doctoral prepared graduate of an ACME accredited nurse-midwifery school.
• Current MN APN license and Board certified in midwifery from AMCB.
• BLS certification and NRP certification required.
• Body mobility, coordinated dexterity of hands, ears, and eyes; sensory acuity, and verbal ability are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience as a teacher or preceptor in an academic medical center.
• Participation in quality improvement or research projects.
• Expertise in multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Centering Pregnancy facilitator training and limited obstetrical ultrasound education and competency required within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care to women delivering at Mayo Clinic's flagship location.
• Conduct prenatal care through in-person and telehealth visits based on patient preference.
• Collaborate with a team of midwives and specialists in maternal fetal medicine, medical genetics, and reproductive medicine.
• Engage in quality improvement projects and research with institutional support.
• Participate in midwifery education as a faculty member.
