About The Position
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Certified Nurse Assistants (CNA) to join our client for a 13-week contract. This role is ideal for candidates who excel in patient care, demonstrate professionalism, and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. The CNA will provide direct care to patients while supporting nursing staff and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to promote patient safety, dignity, and well-being. Requirements
- Active CNA certification in Montana
- BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA or ARC
- CPI certification preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Dependability and professionalism
- Ability to follow clinical protocols and directions from nursing staff
- Basic computer skills for documentation
Nice To Haves
- Experience in behavioral health or hospital settings
- Previous experience with patients of a wide range of ages and conditions
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to licensed nursing staff
- Supporting safe patient handling and use of medical equipment
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team
- Promote a therapeutic and respectful environment for patients of all ages and clinical needs
