Certified Nurse Assistant
About The Position
We are seeking CNAs to join our team! You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to assigned patients. This position is open for twelve-hour shifts. The duties may include but are not limited to: Olydia Home Care is a Minnesota based Home Health Care Agency. We provide nursing services to medically complex and technology dependent patients of all ages. We combine our extensive experience in complex nursing care with our compassion to achieve clinical excellence. With our integrated team of Medical Professionals and System Developers we continuously innovate in Information Technology to improve the effectiveness, efficiency and accuracy of our health care provision.
Requirements
- Must be CNA
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Familiarity with medical tools and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Prepare American Dishes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Responsibilities
- Care for ill, injured, or convalescing patients
- Provide basic patient care and treatment
- Assist with activities of daily living
- Assist patients with medication administration
- Collaborate with registered nurses to administer prescribed medications
- Sterilize and prepare medical tools and equipment
- Educate and update patients on medical treatments
