CNA - In-Patient Hospice Unit, PRN

There is opportunity to grow in your hospice CNA role to achieve a certification in Hospice & Palliative Nursing Assistant (CHPNA). The Ferris Care Center (FCC) team provides short-term care in a home-like setting where friends and family can be present during the most difficult times. Our staff focus on intensive medical end-of-life care for patients who can no longer be at home but would rather not be hospitalized. Our approach to care includes comprehensive physical, emotional, social, and spiritual support. The FCC offers 12hr shifts. With the Variable/PRN role, there is flexibility in arranging your schedule, which provides a work/life balance allowing time for personal needs. Please note that our orientation process will require availability for the first week and a half with an 8am-5pm schedule on weekdays, before going into the variable/PRN flexible schedule. Requirements
- Current Colorado CNA License
- A genuine spirit of caring and compassion
- Effective communication and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
Benefits
- Competitive pay starting at $20.00-$22.13 per hour for CNA’s with more than 6 months experience; $18.50 per hour for those with less than 6 months experience with an opportunity to move up to $20.00 at 6 months if proficient.
- Variable rate of 10% added to base wage
- $5 differential for night shifts, and an additional $5 differential for weekend shifts when applicable.
