About The Position

As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Providence Swedish Rehabilitation Hospital in Lynnwood, WA , you will be a vital member of our care team. You'll support licensed nursing staff and ensure patients receive compassionate, high-quality care throughout their rehabilitation journey. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, and mobility Obtain and accurately chart vital signs, weight, intake/output , and report significant changes Support with meal setup, feeding assistance , and monitoring nutritional intake Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs Safely transport patients to therapy and other hospital departments Manage and safeguard patients' personal items (dentures, glasses, hearing aids, prosthetics) Maintain clean, organized, and safe patient rooms and common areas Support with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers Assist licensed nurses during procedures and treatments Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary care team (nurses, therapists, physicians) Always protect patient privacy, dignity, and confidentiality Other duties may be assigned as needed. Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited CNA program
  • Current Washington State CNA certification
  • Valid CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • 6+ months of experience in an acute care or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Must have strong clinical assessment skills
