About The Position
The Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) at Archbold Living in Cairo is responsible for assisting RNs and LPNs in meeting the needs of hospitalized patients or nursing home residents. The role involves actively participating in nursing reports by receiving and contributing to status reports of patients/residents, providing complete and thorough personal care for patients, and taking and accurately recording vital signs. The CNA will assist and accompany patients during the admission, transfer, and discharge process while ensuring their comfort and safety. Additionally, the CNA will respond promptly and consistently to the needs of patients and their family members, complete housekeeping responsibilities as needed, and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as personal care, feeding, bathing, and dressing. Support for patients and family members is also a key aspect of this role.
