About The Position

Boulder City Hospital is an 82-bed facility, a 47-bed long-term care facility, and a 10-bed Geriatric Behavioral Medicine Center. We are looking for a FULL TIME Certified Nurse Assistant for our Transitional Rehab Unit! The Certified Nurse Assistant performs selected patient care activities. They are a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team and provide various patient care activities and non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of the patient. The role requires the ability to physically assist patients, deal with patient emergencies, and work as a member of a clinical team.

Requirements

• CNA certification with one to two years experience in Rehab/Geri Psych patient care or Long Term Care
• Current CPR certification or scheduled to be completed
• Demonstrates thorough knowledge of work practices, emergency procedures, and personal protective equipment

Responsibilities

• Perform selected patient care activities
• Assist patients with personal needs and comfort
• Work as a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team
• Handle patient emergencies
• Physically assist patients as needed
