About The Position

Currently Hiring a CNA2 for our Surgery unit at Forsyth medical center. We are a General Medical Surgical unit within our Forsyth Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse on this unit you will care for patients coming to us post PACU with gastrointestinal issues, hepatobiliary surgeries, pancreatitis, ostomies, vascular surgeries (BKA, DVT and cellulitis) and orthopedic overflow surgeries. Provides and documents assistance to patients with activities of daily living and maintenance of a safe and clean environment, under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• One year of experience, preferred
• Completion of NA I and NA II programs, required
• NA registry as NA I in good standing
• Current NA II certification with state, required
• NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units, required
• BON Health Care Provider
• Medication Safety - AME

• Basic computer skills for documentation
