Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) - PRN or Part Time
About The Position
South Ogden Post Acute is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in South Ogden, UT. We are expanding our nursing team and are excited that you've considered us. Our CNAs also have the opportunity to participate in our Nursing Tuition Reimbursement Program , which provides $500 per month toward a qualifying nursing program. Schedule PRN / Part-Time positions available. Flexible scheduling based on availability and facility needs. Compensation Hourly range of $15-$21 Potential additional pay for leads or mentors If you are not yet certified, South Ogden Post Acute will pay for your Nursing Assistant Certification (valued at over $500) Training On-the-job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual based on comfort level and prior experience. Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 support and medical oversight . Our CNAs play a vital role in ensuring residents receive compassionate, high-quality care every day.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification or willingness to become certified within 120 days of employment
- Effective communication with coworkers and residents
- Willingness to learn and follow local, state, and federal regulations related to long-term care
Responsibilities
- Answer residents' call lights and respond to their needs
- Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
- Provide physical support to assist residents with activities of daily living such as getting in and out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, toileting, standing, walking, or exercising
- Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and resident preferences to ensure appropriate meals are provided
- Record food and liquid intake and output as required
- Report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
- Build positive relationships with residents to ensure their stay is safe and comfortable
