Requirements
- Must hold one of the following credentials: Active Virginia CNA license (required for CNA applicants) Certificate of completion for Home Health Aide (HHA) or Direct Support Professional (DSP)
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to travel to client homes
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help with mobility and transfers
- Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation
- Monitor and report changes in client condition
- Follow individualized care plans
