Requirements

  • Hold an active CNA certification in Utah (in good standing)
  • Communicate kindly and professionally with residents, families, and staff
  • Can make sound decisions when needed
  • Have a working knowledge of basic nursing practices
  • Understand long-term care regulations (or are willing to learn)
  • Most importantly, you care deeply about the wellbeing of the people you serve.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to call lights and assisting residents with needs
  • Turning and repositioning residents safely
  • Supporting residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, toileting, eating, mobility, etc.)
  • Monitoring dietary needs, restrictions, and preferences
  • Documenting food/fluid intake as needed
  • Observing and reporting changes in resident condition
  • Helping residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for every day
