About The Position

South Ogden Post Acute is a fantastic skilled nursing facility located in South Ogden, UT. We are expanding our nursing team and we are excited that you've considered us. What can we offer you? Hourly range of $15-21 (Potential additional pay for leads/mentors) Weekend Shift Differential of $2/hr 401(k) with company match Medical, Dental, Life, and Vision insurance Paid Time Off (PTO) Training On the job training will be provided to all CNAs. The training period is tailored to each individual, depending on comfort level and experience What do we ask from you? Requirements Current UT CNA certification Effective communication with coworkers and residents Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regard to long-term care Job Duties Answer residents' call lights to determine needs Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet Record food and liquid intake and output as necessary Reporting changes in resident condition to nursing staff and develop relationships with residents to ensure their stay is comfortable Skilled nursing facilities provide care for geriatric patients who require 24/7 care

Requirements

  • Current UT CNA certification
  • Effective communication with coworkers and residents
  • Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws/regulations in regard to long-term care

Responsibilities

  • Answer residents' call lights to determine needs
  • Turn and reposition residents while they are in bed
  • Provide physical support to assist residents in performing daily living activities such as getting in/out of bed, bathing, eating, dressing, using the bathroom, standing, walking, or exercising
  • Review dietary restrictions, food allergies, and preferences to ensure residents receive appropriate diet
