It’s the way you want to be treated. Position Summary Silver Cross Hospital is seeking compassionate, dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our patient-centered care teams. CNAs play a vital role in supporting nursing staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality, respectful, and safe care throughout their stay. This role is ideal for newly certified CNAs, experienced professionals, and individuals eager to grow within a respected healthcare organization.
Requirements
- Active Illinois CNA certification
- Current CPR certification
- Effective communication and people skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
Responsibilities
- Obtain and record vital signs; promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
- Support patient comfort, mobility, and safety
- Provide compassionate, patient-focused care
- Collaborate effectively with nurses and interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient privacy guidelines
