Position Details: Pay range: $16.00 - $19.08 (depending on experience) Mileage reimbursement available based on distance Shift: PRN Job Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant performs routine duties within the limits of training and certification in caring for the hospitalized patient. The care is rendered under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Performs other duties related to the work described herein. The CNA may also perform clerical, receptionist, and transport duties in accordance with missions, goals, and objectives of Mesa View Regional Hospital. Facilitates the information and activity flow to and from the nursing unit. Performs registration duties as assigned. Responsible to answer phones, take messages, make phone calls, fax orders, order entry, etc. Assists with scheduling and billing for infusion patients. Have good customer service, computer and organizational skills. All other duties as assigned that are within the scope of practice.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification from an accredited nursing assistant program required.
- CNA License to practice in the state of Nevada.
- BLS required.
- Interpersonal skills to successfully interact with patient, guest, physicians, and other employees
- High School or better.
- C-ARC-BLS
- L-NV- Cert Nurse Asst
