Under general supervision performs a combination of following duties in caring for residents in the Center, consistent with the plan of care and established long-term care standards and Center policies and processes. The CNA is expected to perform duties in compliance with state and federal regulations. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Exposure to blood and body fluids in Classifications I, II, & III (See Blood borne Pathogens Program, Job Classification System). HBV vaccination available. Exposure to unpleasant odors. Daily interaction with sometimes volatile and angry residents.
