The McAuley is looking for a per-diem C.NA certified Wellness Assistant. Per Diem, no scheduled hours. You will support residents with their daily living activities, focusing on those with chronic and stable conditions.
Requirements
- C.NA Certificate in the State of Connecticut
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- This role involves lifting, carrying, and assisting with residents up to 250 pounds, standing or walking for most of an eight-hour shift, and performing tasks requiring hand-eye coordination.
- It also requires wearing protective equipment, distinguishing sounds, reaching or bending for items, reading small print, and maintaining clear communication.
- Strong focus and interpersonal skills are essential for interacting with residents, staff, and the public.
Nice To Haves
- Home health care experience preferred
