About The Position

Hours: 2p-10:15p Monday-Friday and Every Other Weekend As a CNA at Lutheran Life Villages, earn a starting wage range of $17.00-$19.39 depending upon experience. Tuition Reimbursement SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL for 2nd and 3rd shift Yearly Birthday PTO & Regular Paid Time Off - up to 17 days of PTO in first year. 14 holidays paid at double time when worked. Requirements
- Satisfactory completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent.
- Certification for Nurse Aide must be active and in good standing with the Registry and must be maintained in accordance with ISDH requirements.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of the needs and concerns of the elderly; ability to patiently deal with combative/hostile residents.
- Basic computer experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in a long-term care facility or health care setting preferred.
