Requirements

Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from an accredited program
Current state certification/license required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle physical demands of the role, including lifting and assisting residents

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting preferred

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
Monitor and document residents’ health status and report any changes to nursing staff
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
Assist with feeding residents and ensure their nutritional needs are met
Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff
Follow all safety and infection control protocols
Support the nursing team with routine tasks and patient care activities
